"But if we Golden Goose Superstar were actually to turn that model on its head and think about what we can create with what we already have, and give these brilliant, creative minds the challenge, then I think we'd see incredible results. "That's not a unique experience anymore. Normally, fashion industry insiders consult with insiders, [but] I do think there's so much value to having a fresh perspective. "So Golden Goose Sale we started asking ourselves and the people in our lives, 'How are you getting from point A to point B? Are you running to appointments all day? How many fashion shows do you need to attend? What are you doing tonight? And will you need to take an extra pair of shoes with you, just to get through your day?" A day that-for Rodarte besties like Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, and the Haim sisters-often includes photo shoots, creative meetings, and occasional sprints from the paparazzi.

It wasn't like that back then. Anderson melanged pieces his eponymous label has done over the last decade, from his seasons as an outlier in the BFC's old Somerset House space (those were the days) to his position of prominence now. "I personally wear things so casually, so I like to hear that you find it suited to more occasions or dress-up. "We work with an amazing collection of women, a lot of whom we met throughout our career and have been able to bring on board to the business because they're the best people we've worked with," Perry continues.

Towards the end of the day wearing the shoes, when I arrive from work I feel none of the achiness that occurs after walking upwards of an hour in a single pair of shoes. While the best-known entry Golden Goose on Do's impressive CV is his stint working under Phoebe Philo at Celine, since going independent, the route he has taken has been distinctly his own.

That's right, it's finally spring, which means it's finally time to swap those thick-soled boots for a pair of fresh spring shoes.
