These “divine proportions” are based on a formula that experts claim can calculate facial charms. The Greeks devised the Golden Ratio in an attempt to measure physical beauty and now scientists are using it to explain why some people are considered more beautiful than others.

Well, the winner of this unusual beauty contest that no one asked for is model Bella Hadid. In Dr. Silva’s study that named Hadid the most beautiful, Silva applied the Golden Ratio to various famous female celebrities’ lips, nose, eye size and position, jaws and symmetry.

The length and width of the faces were measured and divided, with the ideal result coming out to roughly 1.6.Hadid’s face was the closest to “perfection” with a rating of 94.35%. Her chin was found to be almost perfect with a rating of 99.7%.

A very close second with a 92.44% rating was Beyonce followed by Ariana Grande at 91.81%, Taylor Swift at 91.64%, Scarlett Johansson at 90.91% and Cara Delevingne at 89.99%.

Now, to complicate things a bit, Hadid revealed in an interview at the start of the year that she got a nose job when she was only 14 years old.
