How long do ai companions stay with you?
Can you sit down and play for say 5 hours with 1 ai companion?
Do they go away after they take too much damage or after a certain amount of time?
Will they ride around in your vehicle with you?
Any help appreciated.

(Out of Curiosity: Would you describe General Discussion as a flood, wave, or shower?)
The theme I'm seeing with general discussion, is about half the content is suggestions.
So, why isn't there a suggestion section?
I'm sure you guys have a better idea than I do. And probably have a dozen reasons of why, or why not?
Key point:
Discussions and suggestions are equally submerged and lose out on recognition. Especially due to the volume of topics. It would be more uniform and easy to find content, if it wasn't one melting pot.
Also, I've had 10 ideas since yesterday. If you enjoy sharing things --- it's pretty damning to think your only platform for doing so, is fairly limited.
So, shouldn't there be an appropriate outlet for this? Or am I barking up the wrong tree here?
Any help appreciated.

Been playing on and off (mostly solo indy/mining) and I’ve often heard this phrase mentioned about ships but would like to get some guidelines/clarity on when a ship becomes one…what line has to be crossed so as it’s then considered one? When a ship is considered as one then where are they most at risk in high sec?
I assume it refers to ships in high sec usually as low/null appear to be war zones. Can any ship be one or is it just something like a command battle cruiser, navy battleship or black ops maybe. Does it have to be worth a certain amount of ISK?
For example, would a Damnation/Widow or maybe a Rattlesnake be thought of as one (or do you need to scan it first)? And how likely would it be to be ganked in one in your average 0.5-0.6 system and are there people actively looking for them?
Any help appreciated.

Thanks!
I believe, for the majority, ganking is perfectly acceptable and fun way to play the game.
However, its far too easy and the billions of ISK earned by ganking is rather unbalanced.
Is there any plans to make this part of the game come more inline with other mechanics such as jump fatigue since for me, this is type of game play should have similar consequences?
Any help appreciated.

Hello,
So I've been wanting to setup an IRC server for a few friends and myself, but not too sure were to start and what I'll need exactly. Usually I'm on top of things like this, but I've never messed with IRC so I apologize for all the questions. I've found some tutorials, but the ones I've seen seem outdated.
I'm wanting an IRC server that will encrypt the data so that nothing is being sent out in plain text and can be connected to from anywhere. What OS do you guys recommend for it (I already have a laptop laying around with Ubuntu 12.04 server on it), what IRC server to use, and do I need to use a domain (which isn't an issue for me) or can I just use IP addresses (what I'd prefer to do)? If you do find an article that isn't outdated, that would be good enough as a response.
please help
Thanks !
