But Bruce Arians has talked highly of Wentz before, and like all the other teams here, they'd have the flexibility of totally resetting in 2023 anyway.Commanders: They need a QB, they've never been afraid of veteran swings, and yet Ron Rivera needs something more than another free-agent flyer (as evidenced by their reported offer for in 2021). With close to $30M in projected cap space, they have the money to pull it off, and they've also seen Wentz at his best in the NFC East.: While a Rodgers trade would be sweet for both parties, they feel far more likely to go with a soft rebuild at QB as Mike Tomlin wades into post-Ben Roethlisberger waters. Wentz offers some traits of a younger Ben, and his arrival wouldn't preclude them from drafting a QB. That means with free agency and the 2022 NFL Draft behind us, it's time for another batch of my Power Rankings.I bet you can't wait.I always keep the defending Super Bowl champions in the top spot until the regular season kicks off, so the  Kevin Pillar Jersey stay there. There is no reason to believe they can't be in the mix to win it all again.They will once again be a talented team loaded with stars, but general manager Les Snead also knows how to supplement his roster with young players who can contribute. That won't change, which is why the Rams remain in the top spot.Some teams have moved up in these Power Rankings after impre sive offseasons, while others have fallen off because they haven't kept up. The NFL formula seems to be about going for it now, which is the formula the Rams used to win a Super Bowl last year.  In a league of copycats, that seems to be catching on. That's why the offseason has been wild with a ton of big-name trades that have kept the interest at an all-time high.The top team from the AFC in these rankings is the . I think they were the best team at the end of last season and would have won it all, were it not for those horribly-played 13 seconds at the end of the playoff lo s to the .The Bills have done a nice job of filling in some key spots this offseason, but made a big splash adding pa s rusher . Sacking the quarterback late in games won't be an i sue anymore. With now in the conversation as the best player in the league, the offense will once again be dynamic.  Bills-Rams Super Bowl? It's too early for that, but in the first week of May they are the two top teams in the league.The AFC is loaded with good teams, while the NFC still has the and as the leading contenders to hurt the Rams' chances of repeating. We know a surprise team or two will emerge  like the last year  so it again looks to be wide open.That's the way the NFL likes it.Training camps don't open for nearly three months, so until then, wait for the schedule release, enjoy the minicamp go sip and count the days until the ball kicks off for real again in September.  The next Power Rankings will be coming here right before the season -- when even a little more of what we can expect crystallizes. Josh Allen is a star, and this roster is loaded.  1  2-1-0  3  Trading Tyreek Hill changes things on offense, but they will again be in the mix because of Patrick Mahomes. They added some nice defensive pieces in the draft as well.  1  2-1-0  4  They really beefed up the defense in the draft, but also added three receivers who can help. With Aaron Rodgers back, it's go time again.  1  2-1-0  5  Getting Tom Brady back immediately made them a contender again. They've done a nice job of keeping things together, other than coach Bruce Arians stepping down and Todd Bowles taking over.  4  2-1-0  6  The offseason was about fixing the offensive line, and they did it. They  Dave Dravecky Jersey also added a few nice pieces in the draft on defense. All of that will again make this team a contender.  4  1-2-0  7  The Chargers have to feel good about their roster after free agency and the draft. Getting Khalil Mack was big. The only problem is they play in a brutal division. Even so, this is the year they should compete for a Will Smith Jersey  championship.  6  1-2-0  8  Adding Ru sell Wilson via trade immediately changed the entire outlook for this team. With a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, and now a franchise quarterback, they can push for a division tittle and a lot more.  11  0-3-0  9  The quarterback situation is still unsettled, and if it's Trey Lance as the starter they might have to be patient early on. There is still an abundance of talent on this roster to make it a lot easier for him.  2  3-0-0  10  They expect Lamar Jackson to revert back to his MVP form this season, which will make them a contender for the AFC North again. They had a great draft, which will only help those chances.  6  2-1-0  11  They've had a heck of an offseason and really had a nice draft weekend. That means this season is all about Jalen Hurts and his growth, especially after adding receiver A.J. Brown in a trade.  1  3-0-0  12  They have to stay healthy on the offensive line, which they didn't do last year. Drafting Tyler Smith in the first round will help that. The concern on defense is the pa s rush, but this is a talent-laden team.  4  2-1-0  13  The addition of Carson Wentz will improve the offense, but how much? The defense has to get back playing like many expected they would last season before a disappointing showing. That means Chase Young and gang.  12  2-1-0  14  Matt Ryan makes this is a better team, but they will rely on two rookie draft picks to protect his blind side (Bernhard Raimann) and help down the downfield pa sing game (Alec Pierce). That's asking a lot.  --  2-1-0  15  With Deshaun Watson now in as the starting quarterback, they feel like a team that can again make a deep playoff run. The talent is there to do it, even if Watson mi sed an entire season on the field.  5  2-1-0  16  It's all about Bruce Bochy Jersey  Ryan Tannehill handling himself in the key moments and big games. That's why the pre sure is on him, and certainly why they drafted Malik Willis.  10  1-2-0  17  The new regime has done some really good things so far, but playing in the AFC West will make it a real challenge to get back to the playoffs. The pa sing game will be fun with Davante Adams on board.  2  1-2-0  18  They've had a very ho-hum offseason, but that's been Bill Belichick for most of his career. Only now we have to see if it can work with Mac Jones like it did with Tom Brady in the past.  8  1-2-0  19  There seems to be some turmoil with Kyler Murray squawking about a new contract and now a six-game suspension for top receiver DeAndre Hopkins. The defense suffered a hit losing Chandler Jones, so they will need some rookie edge players to make a difference quickly.  8  1-2-0  20  New coach Kevin O'Connell inherits a team that should be able roll up big numbers on offense. The question is the defense, but they will be better on that side than they were a year ago after spending a lot of draft capital on it.  1  0-3-0  21  They took quarterback Kenny Pickett in the first round, which means it's only a matter of time before he takes over as the starter. That's a good thing.  4  2-1-0  22  The draft filled two major holes at left tackle and speed receiver. They feel they have enough to compete, and that means they believe in Jameis Winston in a big way.  4  2-1-0  23  They traded to land Tyreek Hill to juice up the offense, which means the table is set for Tua Tagovailoa. This season is all about him and his play.  1  3-0-0  24  Without Ru sell Wilson, they are way down here. They must really believe in Drew Lock since they pa sed on taking a quarterback in the draft.  --  2-1-0  25  They are riding high after an impre sive draft haul. But none of it will matter if Daniel Jones doesn't improve under new coach Brian Daboll.  4  1-2-0  26  The offseason has been good to this team in terms of adding talent. Now comes the tough part: Can Doug Pederson bring it all together and get them to .500?  5  1-2-0  27  They spent some draft capital on the defense, which you would expect with Matt Eberflus in as the head coach. They didn't do a lot early to help Justin Fields, which could be a concern and is somewhat strange.  --  0-3-0  28  They had an impre sive draft, which has this team continuing to head in the right direction. Without a quarterback draft pick, it's Jared Goff again as the signal-caller.  --  2-1-0  29  They are coming off the high of an outstanding draft that landed three top players in the first round. Now it's all about Zach Wilson growing as a player.  1  1-2-0  30  There is talk they could still make a move to land Baker Mayfield, but for now it's Sam Darnold again as their starter. They did draft Matt Corral, but this team isn't talented enough.  4  0-3-0  31  They traded away Deshaun Watson, and now it's Davis Mills time. I like him as a player, but this roster isn't great around him. They did have a good, solid draft.  1  1-2-0  32  The Falcons are Mauricio Dubon Jersey  basically tanking this year as they get out of cap hell. They don't have a lot of talent, but they will have a ton of cap space next year to fix it.  9  2-1-0

Breech's Super Bowl LVI pickThe upside of making a Super Bowl pick is that you get an extra week to think about it thanks to the bye week, which is a good thing, because I definitely needed an extra week to think about this pick.As the resident Bengals homer here at CBSSports.com, the obvious thing to do would be to pick Cincinnati, especially since my dad (Jim Breech) was the Bengals kicker in their first two Super Bowls. However, taking the Bengals because I'm related to a former player would NOT be objective. Also, I went to college with Rams coach Sean McVay at Miami of Ohio, and what kind of person would I be if I were to pick against someone I went to college with? I would be a horrible person.Basically, my pick boils down to this: Do I want my family to disown me for picking against the Bengals? Or do I want Miami to rescind my degree for picking against a fellow alum? Very tough choice.  Rams vs. Bengals (+4.5): I'll be honest, I think this game ends in one of two ways: Either the Bengals win a close one in the fourth quarter or this turns into a replay of last year's Super Bowl where got destroyed by the defense and the NFC team wins in a rout. I'm going with option A. As the son of a former Bengals kicker, I feel like the only way for me to go with this pick is to predict that it ends on a field goal by the current Bengals kicker, so that's what I'm going to do. Five Super Bowl records that probably won't ever be brokenThere's a good chance we're going to see the Rams and Bengals combine to break several Super Bowl records on Sunday. As a matter of fact, the two teams will break one as soon as they step on the field and that's because Sean McVay and Zac Taylor will break the record for the youngest combined age of the two head coaches in the game.Although plenty of records will be broken, there are also plenty of records that WON'T be broken. With that in mind, our Bryan DeArdo :  1. Washington scores 35 points in a single quarter in Super Bowl XXII2. Bob Griese only attempts seven pa ses in Super Bowl VI3. John Riggins carries the ball 38 times for Washington in Super Bowl XVII4. Rod Martin intercepts three pa ses for Raiders in Super Bowl XV5. Bears allow just seven rushing yards in Super Bowl XXThis is a solid list, but if I could make one change, I'd probably take out the second record and replace it with something else. The reason for that is because the Griese record for fewest pa ses by a starting quarterback could easily get broken if a QB gets injured early in the game, and now I'm hoping I didn't jinx anyone by mentioning that Kenley Jansen Jersey .As for the other four records, I think DeArdo hit the nail on the head. I don't think anyone will be getting 38 carries in a Super Bowl anytime soon, three interceptions seems almost impo sible, and it's not going to be easy for anyone to match Chicago's record for fewest rushing yards allowed.     5. QB drama: leaves door open for po sible return, snubs on social mediaAfter Tom Brady announced his retirement last week, I figured he'd fly off to Costa Rica with his family and we wouldn't hear from him for at least a month, but as it turns out, I was way wrong about that. Not only did we hear from Brady this week, but it sounds like he might .Brady leaves the door open for a po sible return. While talking on his "Lets Go" podcast with Jim Gray, here's what Brady had to say when asked if he's consider coming out of retirement, "You know, I'm just gonna take things as they come," Brady said,. "I think that's the best way to put it, and ... you never say never." I'm gue sing Gisele is going to have a stern talking with him once she sees these comments. Brett Favre made a similar statement after announcing his retirement in 2008 and he ended up not retiring at all. Instead, he was on the field with the by the time training camp rolled around after the traded him to New York.Brady says if "Tuck Rule" didn't happen, he probably wouldn't be famous. ESPN did a "30 for 30" on the Tuck Rule game this week and during the episode, Brady basically credited the Tuck Rule for all of his career succe s. You usually only see this kind of social media scrubbing after a celebrity breakup, which makes this situation incredibly interesting. Murray is eligible for a contract extension this offseason and it's po sible this is his way of playing hardball, but it's also po sible that he's just doing this for attention because as we all know, doing something for attention on social media is really the only reason to even be on social media.It's going to be an interesting offseason.   6. Rapid-fire roundup: Odell almost signed with PatriotsIt's been a busy 24 hours in the NFL and since it's nearly impo sible to keep track of everything that happened I went ahead and put together a roundup for you.Odell Beckham came 'very' close to signing with New England. During his Super Bowl Media Night interview on Monday, Odell in November. I'm gue sing he's now glad he didn't.Super Bowl tight end injury update. With Rams tight end and Bengals tight end both dealing with strained MCLs, there's been some question about whether they'll be playing this week. On Uzomah's end, he said there's ," so I think that means he's going to play. As for Higbee, his status is still completely up in the  Joe Kelly Jersey air and he , according to Rams coach Sean McVay. Brian Flores calls out Texans over hiring of Lovie Smith. Flores' legal team ripped the Texans after the team's hiring of Smith. According to Flores, the only reason he .
