The Tour V5 rangefinders feature Bushnell’s “BITE” technology. The BITE magnetic mount allows the laser rangefinder to be secured to a golf buggy without the need for any aftermarket accessories. With 7lbs. of pull strength, golfers can be assured their rangefinder will stay put.
JOLT has been taken to the next level with the all new PinSeeker with Visual JOLT Technology. A red ring now flashes as JOLT vibrates to give the golfer even greater feedback and confidence to know they have locked onto the flag.The Z80 has some unique features that sets this laser apart from the rest. When you look through the view finder a 2d map of the hole you are playing is shown as an overlay inside and once you aim at a target a shot arc appears on the overlay showing you where your shot would finish. This really is a game changing feature in a golf laser rangefinder as it shows you everything that is in play at that distance, and is a massive help when deciding on a strategy to play a certain hole. When you aim the laser at the flag and it locks on to the pin then a detailed overlay of the green complex is shown inside, making it easy to highlight the areas that would be dangerous to hit the ball into.
The Garmin Z80 Laser Rangefinder also benefits from image stabilisation which, combined with their clever flag finder technology, makes locking onto the flag a far easier task on windy days or if your hands are a little shaky. As soon as the laser locks onto the pin the it automatically moves to the green view. There is also a pin-pointer mode which will show where the flag is on blind shots. This is a huge advantage over other lasers on the market.
The Z80 is the most accurate laser range finder available today offering a staggeringly impressive 10” accuracy level over 320 yards and it also comes with an inbuilt ‘plays like’ feature. If a shot is uphill or downhill it will not play its yardage and the Garmin Z80 will tell you what yardage the shot will actually play. Most golfers would be amazed at the difference playing uphill or downhill can make and so this feature can make a massive difference to your score. This feature is not legal to be used in competition and is easily switched off for competition use.
