Know the Dangers of Overloading Your Power Board

It seems as if everything we use on a daily basis runs on electricity. Laptops, tablets, smartphones, TVs, and other electronic devices all need to either be plugged in constantly to run or plugged in to build up a charge so it can go wireless. Unfortunately, many homes and offices don't have enough standard outlets to accommodate all the required wires and cords, which is where power boards come in.Get more news about Overload Protection Socket Supplier ,you can vist our website!

Power boards can turn a single electrical outlet, which can only hold one or two plugs, into one that can accommodate multiple plugs. While this sounds ideal – after all, you can plug in all those devices and not have to go searching for an outlet – it can be extremely dangerous if you overload the power board.

Overloaded power boards can do everything from damage the devices that are plugged in to cause injury by shocking people or even starting a fire. Understanding the do's and don'ts of electrical safety when it comes to power boards can help protect you, your family, co-workers, and even your electronic devices.

We have gathered some helpful electrical safety tips that will prove invaluable should you wish to use a power board, double adaptor, or extension lead in your home or office.

Don't Use the Piggyback Method
The piggyback method is when you essentially overload a power board by plugging one plug in and then connecting it to another to create a longer cord. Piggy backing is also a term that is used when you use a double adaptor to turn a single outlet into a double outlet.

Using the piggyback method is not recommended because it could overload the power board. Every power board has a maximum current rating. That rating is determined based off the design and structure of the power board. It does not factor in the use of additional adaptors or extending it with another plug.

Overloading a power board beyond the maximum current rating could cause a fire hazard. It is best to just use the power board as it was intended and not add additional cords or double adaptors.
Do Purchase Power Boards with Overload Protection
Some power boards have a feature that is called overload protection. This feature will automatically stop any electricity that leads to the power board should there be a potential for overheating. For the safety of your home, office, and co-workers, make sure you purchase a board that has the overload protection feature.

Don't Plug Appliances that are classified as High Wattage into the Power Board
Appliances, such as heaters, gas or electric stoves, kettles, and TVs, are often classified as high wattage. The high wattage classification means these electronic appliances require more power to run properly. Unfortunately, many power boards are not designed to handle high wattage appliances.

What materials is needed for interior design 3d rendering？

1.Marble stone
Natural marble stone screams luxury. It has become extremely popular in the past couple of years, and it’s used for flooring, countertops, bathroom walls, countertops, baths, toilets, decorative elements, and so on. Marble truly has terrific patterns, colors, shapes, and details and makes every room look special. To get more news about 3D Rendering Services, you can visit 3drenderingltd.com official website.

However, this is an expensive option, and if clients want this kind of luxury, they need to be prepared to spend a bit more. There are fantastic color options from black marble, red, orange, aqua blue, diamond, and many other combinations.
This is a sublime piece of material, and some of its best forms make every room an icon of exclusive luxury and excellence.

It’s a beautiful material that offers a timeless look. Each home that has marble stone leaves guests breathless and makes a big impression. If your clients want their home to feel special and unique, make sure to add as much marble stone as possible.
2.Carpets
Since we are talking about floors, we should mention that rugs are also becoming a big hit. A carpet can be made out of natural materials or textiles. Of course, those natural ones are more expensive, but they are worth it as they have a better feel. Anyway, the primary function of carpets is to decorate the floor even further, provide walking comfort, and reinforced insulation.

The great thing about carpets is that they come in a huge variety. There are many different shapes, sizes, stylings, detailing, and color options. You can find a carpet that can fit in perfectly with any design style. Always make sure to offer a carpet option to your customers if it makes sense, and it often will.

Carpets are growing in popularity as the customers have recognized the “Eastern styles” where there are really popular. However, their downside is that they need to be adequately maintained and won’t last for that long.

3.Plywood
Even though plywood doesn’t bring that much glamour, it’s become a formidable option. Plywood is leftover wood materials that are compressed and glued tightly together as a sheet. It doesn’t look all that special on its own, but it usually comes with different surface finishes, which can bring elegance.

Every plywood layer is set at 90 degrees to provide sturdiness and durability. On top of that, plywood is pretty affordable and can look lovely. It’s often used for shelves, small tables, and built-ins and can bring brightness to every room.

Apart from being affordable, plywood is also eco-friendly as it’s made out of wood materials that would alternatively be thrown away. This means less garbage and pollution. Instead of adding natural wood, plywood can be an excellent affordable, green alternative to make the interior sparkle.

4.Mixing metals with other materials
Metal is no longer a taboo in the interior design world. In the past, when people said metal, everyone instantly made a grim face. It was considered to be industrial and cold, and for a long time, it wasn’t appropriately used in residential settings. However, if you add it to the right places at the right time and mix it with other materials, it can have a mind-blowing effect.

The key is not to overdo it and always consider the materials surrounding metal. For example, you can go with golden metal elements if you combine them with luxury marble stone. This will make a big statement of elegance and flair, but in other situations adding golden metal can come off tacky.

Additionally, one of the crucial things to consider is the color of metal areas, which makes a huge difference. Metal is traditionally really obvious and seems cold, and that’s why it’s generally a good idea to go with some warmer tones to suppress this feeling.
5.Mosaic tiles
We are living in an age where everyone wants to be unique and showcase their style. One of the easiest and cheapest ways to do this with interior design is with mosaic tiles. They come with many different design options, colors, patterns, and allow designers to showcase their creativity as well.

Customers love them because they can also offer their suggestions and make something unique. This flooring material is exquisite, timeless, and everyone loves them. Some of the materials mosaic tiles come in include sintered glass, porcelain, vitreous glass, marble, and other natural stones.

The price is also really flexible, depending on the materials, details, and customization. This means that you can find something useful for each customer. What’s impressive about mosaic tiles is that they can be used everywhere. They are often found in hallways, bathrooms, kitchen, and in some cases, even in the living room.

6.Wax surface finish
Wax has a watery feel and appearance to it, but it actually provides a lot of benefits as a finish. It can be used on all kinds of surfaces, especially plaster. First of all, wax protects surfaces from scratches, rust, water, sunlight, and other exterior damage. Secondly, it gives the surface a fantastic look.

It will make it look brand new for a long time with a shiny glow. Wax is particularly useful for highlighting wooden surfaces and making them look special. It can be used over any finish, basically to give it a smooth and soft feel.

However, it’s important to remember that you can’t put any other finish after applying wax. Just think about it, why do so many car enthusiasts put wax on their vehicles? It simply makes them look amazing and protect them for a long time.

7.Natural wood flooring
For a couple of years now, natural wood has been a big hit, and this trend continues to last. The wide range of natural wood allows different combinations and new solutions that can be applied for various purposes in interior settings. For example, hardwood floors are making a big comeback as they were prevalent in the past.

Hardwood floors are more expensive and require more effort to maintain, but they genuinely make every room look fabulous. Some of the most popular trees used for hardwood floors are Walnut, Cherry, and Red Oak. These breeds come with the best pattern options, and they are durable and vivid.

WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE

A few years ago, while watching Uzi (Jian Zihao), another Chinese professional LOL player, on a live broadcast, Ruo (Teng Yang-Tian-Xia), a retired e-sports player of the real-time action strategy video game League of Legends, blurted out "Uzi, YYDS".To get more news about yyds, you can visit shine news official website.

YYDS, the pinyin abbreviation of the four Chinese character expression, literally means "eternal god", illustrating one's feeling for something or someone that is godlike, awesome and extraordinary. An equivalent abbreviation in English would be GOAT-greatest of all time-to describe the person who has performed better than anyone else ever has, especially in games.

The abbreviated slang reached its peak popularity at last year's Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Whenever a Chinese player won gold at the Games, the video was flooded with YYDS bullet comments, a popular feature on online video sites in China that allows viewers' comments to fly across the screen in real time.

But Chinese internet slang, which is based solely on the widespread use of alphabetical acronyms made up of the initials of Chinese characters, is causing concern among educators.

Cheng Xudong, a primary school teacher in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, says the development of internet slang is not all fun and games. From his daily observations, the "geographical boundary" between Internet slang and formal language is disappearing, as he has often seen the compositions he receives from students flooded with abbreviated slang.

"As an orthodox Chinese teacher, I don't feel comfortable when I read the abbreviations they use to write," he says. "The misuse of homophones also makes me scratch my head. Ya, (the Chinese interjection to express emotions such as exclamation) is often deliberately replaced by some students with one of the homophones meaning 'duck'," he adds.

"The sentence 'I am so happy' literally becomes 'I am happy duck' by using the homophone. Whenever a topic is about patriotism, some students are used to adding YYDS to the word 'motherland', as if it were a natural fit and the abbreviated slang could add momentum."
What made those most physically uncomfortable and raised their blood pressure was the well-deserved jue jue zi, a jargon from the reality TV show Produce Camp 2020 that doubles the character jue (great, awesome) with zi, which was originally an honorary title and can mean "master", to create an enhanced tone that means fantastic or awesome.

It is obviously a positive word, but the rhyming duplication and the cute suffix are abused in almost all circumstances. Loyal defenders of the Chinese language have called for an official ban on what they describe as "language degeneration".

NBCS, an abbreviation of the English words nobody cares, is interestingly an internet buzzword in China, while it is not widely used in the English-speaking world. The post-00s generation is very careful when using it, adding the "s" at the end.

Shanghai 2023: Accelerating China's construction productivity

Two-thirds of China's regions have announced spending of more than $1.8 trillion on major infrastructure investments this year, and in March 2023, an index measuring China's construction activity surged to its highest level since 2012.To get more news in shanghai china, you can visit citynewsservice.cn official website.

Cost and supply chain efficiencies have been key drivers of success for Chinese construction companies delivering domestic projects. However, these advantages have not been consistently observed when delivering international projects. To expand China's construction capabilities to reach global markets, local leaders will need to make significant progress in adopting digital and AI, integrating design standards, and embracing modular industrialisation, customer centricity and quality consistency.

On 10 April 2023, the Global Infrastructure Initiative (GII) hosted a roundtable discussion with more than 40 senior leaders from China's construction and real estate industries. The event provided a summary of leading insights from the 8th GII Summit, as well as a dedicated discussion on the latest global trends, China's current strengths and opportunities in construction, and levers for scaling China's construction capabilities internationally.
The industry needs to develop its enduring strengths to meet disruptive challenges. China's construction industry has outperformed the world in terms of schedule control, cost control and supply chain management, resulting in some of the world's largest engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects. However, the industry now faces low productivity, labour shortages and rising construction costs. Frequently cited challenges include a lack of project management skills when working on international projects and insufficient use of digital tools.

Take a long-term, holistic view of the benefits of digital / AI. Adoption of digital and AI in construction lags far behind manufacturing, not because the technology isn't available, but because traditional construction leaders haven't fully embraced the innovations and lack the patience and commercial incentives to invest in digital / AI transformation. When asked, 62 per cent of roundtable participants said they were in the 'early stages' of adopting key data and analytics innovations, with the remainder partially adopted. When budgets are allocated on a project-by-project basis, the ROI of digital innovation cannot be viewed holistically. As economic conditions change and market growth slows, leaders must shift from a "one-time cash flow" model to a long-term portfolio view when investing in digital / AI innovation.
Producing and exporting Chinese modular / prefabricated units, leveraging China's local cost and supply chain advantages to increase global competitiveness. The global construction industry is already exploring a more standardised approach to design, procurement, materials and equipment manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, and on-site assembly. China's high level of industrialisation and manufacturing maturity lends itself well to this approach. One executive said: "Industrialisation is not done just for the sake of it; the ultimate goal is to provide better products and services that customers are willing to pay for." There is an opportunity to partner with overseas customers earlier in the design process to align standards and construction methods, and to integrate Chinese ecosystems.

Decision to Leave’ Star Tang Wei Tells Park Chan-wook

Tang Wei, the Chinese star of Korean film “Decision to Leave,” says she told director Park Chan-wook that he’d made her life complete after seeing the finished version of the film at its Cannes Film Festival gala premiere. To get more news about tang wei, you can visit shine news official website.

The film played in competition this week in Cannes. She revealed her confession on Tuesday at a press event, accompanied by Park, cast member Park Hae-il and scriptwriter Chung Soo-kyung.

Switching between Chinese and English, Tang Wei said: “This in not the first time I’ve worked with a Korean director. Director Park gave us actors a lot of information, but at the same time he is very protective of the material… after seeing the film yesterday, I told [Park] that you make some part of my life complete.”
There were no special difficulties making the film, only joys,” she added. “Of course there were some practical challenges, because I don’t speak Korean well.”

That could come as a surprise to many viewers as the film plays extensively with language. Tang’s character speaks Chinese and a form of Korean that is described in the film as particularly formal due to the character having learned the language as a foreigner. However in real life Tang is married to Korean film director Kim Tae-yong and is familiar with the language.

Park Hae-il, a veteran of dozens of Korean movies, said the biggest challenge in making the film was about plunging into the universe of director.

Chung confirmed that the film was inspired by a popular song, but that she had not listened to the words before approaching the screenplay. “I took a logical approach and decided to adopt a misty atmosphere,” she said.

Park denied suggestions that the film was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s “Vertigo” as some critics have suggested. “I never thought of that before, but I can see the connection,” he said.

Park, who previously directed the ultra-violent and stylized “Oldboy,” denied that he is an action film specialist. “I don’t particularly like stunt or action scenes. But some parts of a film require them. In that case I try to make them as appropriate as possible.”

He was asked by one journalist why the film contained so few sex or violence scenes. “Would you ask this question of another director? I was asked the same question yesterday when I held meetings with distributors. My film did not need nudity or violence.”

Park explained: “In any police interrogation you have questions and answers. But sometimes the suspect asks questions of the policemen. [In my film] they eat together, clean the table together — this is part of the detective’s character. He also spies on her. For some people that might be an intrusion, but for [Tang Wei’s character] Soo-rae, she finds it comforting.”Earlier in the day, financier and sales agent CJ Entertainment said that “Decision to Leave” had been its most successful title of all time in terms of sales value. It has been sold to 192 countries and territories, including to Bac Films for France, Mubi for North America, U.K., Turkey and India, and Happinet Phantom Studios for Japan.

The 6 Best Tote Bags to Match Any Style

One day your tote bag holds your laptop and a couple of books, and the next it holds three bunches of celery and a melon from the farmers market. To get more news about fit and fresh lunch bag, you can visit china-handbag-factory.com official website.

No matter its size or composition, a tote should be easy to pack and unpack, helpful whether you’re heading to a coffee shop or an office, and attractive and versatile enough for you to drag it to dinner afterward.

With eight Wirecutter staffers giving opinions on our top 10 bags, we found the six tote bags we loved that covered a variety of looks, carrying needs, and budgets. And best of all: They made great schlepping partners.
If I was Sarah Snook on Succession, I would have this bag,” said Wirecutter's Anna Perling during testing. She was contemplating the $250 Leatherology Belmont Structured Tote while referring to the impossibly chic-yet-corporate wardrobe of character Shiv Roy on HBO’s satirical comedy-drama about the owners of a global media empire.

It was an offhand comment about how an accessory can make you feel more deeply yourself, or help you dress up in the armor of someone else. Maybe we aren’t all Siobhan “Shiv” Roy on Succession—but maybe, with the right tote bag, we could look like we are.

Add a tote to your wardrobe if you need a fashionable way to cram all of your supplies into a bag for work, the gym, or the beach and want to be able to grab them easily. Whether you get one tote bag or two, a tote is an accessory that should make you feel prepared, no matter where you are. With the variety of materials and styles available, there may not be a single best tote for everybody, but we did find a range of wonderful ones.
It’s hard to pin the Baggu Duck Bag’s excellence on a single feature, but that’s where its genius lies: Its practical simplicity makes it a more universal choice than any other tote bag we tested. Almost the entire Wirecutter staff has used the Duck Bag before, and during our testing we received a lot of positive feedback about its style.

The Duck Bag is 11 inches wide by nearly 16 inches tall, and its flexible seams mean it can accommodate a large volume of contents. “I can stick my whole yoga mat in there,” one tester told us. And its shoulder strap extends to 40 inches, double the strap length of most totes we tested. You can adjust it to use the bag over your shoulder or carry it on your back, or you can use the short handles to carry it like a briefcase.
The Baggu felt sturdy over weeks of testing and didn’t pick up much dirt—and in our experience, the bags have lasted extremely well. Lesley Stockton, our food stylist and senior staff writer on the kitchen team, has owned a Duck Bag for 10 years and has used it for everything from lugging knife rolls and heavy clogs to hauling a giant food processor across New York City. Besides the expected amount of wear and tear, the bag has remained intact without developing any major rips or thin spots. In contrast to the care instructions for our other picks, Baggu recommends machine washing the Duck Bag and line drying it, though you can also wash it by hand.

High-Load Linear Stage Series for a Fast

The linear stages are specifically designed for industrial applications with high operating cycles over long travel ranges: 3-phase linear motors with recirculating ball bearing guides make a constant load to 1000 N, accelerations to 5m/s², and velocities to 5000 mm/s possible.Get more news about linear motion stage manufacturers, you can vist our website!

High-resolution linear encoders also ensure a high tracking accuracy, minimum tracking errors, and short settling times. The calibrated bidirectional repeatability of the linear stages is ±0.5 µm.

A Variety of Possible Combinations and a Simple Machine Integration

For multi-axis applications, the linear stages can easily be combined to gantry setups. The axes can be assembled individually thanks to the optionally available motion platform and the triple M6 hole pattern. Because of the slim design of 132 mm maximum width, they can be integrated in a space-saving manner into compact machine assemblies.

In addition, the linear motor stages are designed in such a way that they can be configured, in combination with additional linear axes to become powerful gantry or split-bride systems.

Industry-Compliant Controls

For the control of the V-855 and V-857 linear stages, PI offers the G-901 19” rack electronics solution, which combines an ACS Motion Controller and drivers for up to four axes as well as an integrated "Safe-Torque-Off" (STO) module. Alternatively, modular ACS drivers, such as UDMpa, combined with the powerful ACS Motion Controller or third-party control solutions can be used.

The best blackout curtains in 2023

If your sleep is often disrupted by sunshine or bright lights outside your window, you might want to consider investing in blackout curtains — these look like typical curtains but include a blackout lining that stops light from filtering into your room, experts told us. Blackout curtains can also help regulate how well you sleep overall — studies have found that shifts in exposure to light before you rise can reduce your quality of sleep, disrupt circadian rhythm (the internal process that regulates sleep) and make you feel fatigued much earlier in the day.Get more news about black out blinds, you can vist our website!

If you’re considering adding blackout curtains to your home, we spoke to experts about what to consider when shopping for them and how you can get the most use out of them. We also highlighted expert picks for the best blackout curtains to shop.

In addition to their ability to block out light, blackout curtains are a decor element just like other shades, blinds or curtains you’d install. Because of this, the one you choose largely depends on your personal preferences and your home’s aesthetic. With that being said, experts recommend thinking about the following factors while shopping for blackout curtains overall:

The blackout curtains below are all highly rated, are available in various sizes to fit your windows and include multiple drapery style options to fit your preferences. We highlighted options recommended by experts and Select staff, too.

“This selection accomplishes all of your needs for a beautifully designed blackout curtain that’s still reasonably priced,” said Beth Brown, an interior designer and owner of Beth Brown Interiors in Atlanta. The curtain is offered individually or in a set of two and you can purchase separate ring clips for ease of use.

“This is a super economical choice that ships quickly and comes in a multitude of colors and patterns,” said Brown. “Given the fabric type, they do a nice job of blocking outside noise and insulating rooms for energy efficiency.” These blackout curtains come with two panels, are machine-washable, have Velcro ties to pull them back and are made in an Oeko-TEX standard factory. Plus, with their reasonable price point and range of styles, Brown noted that they’re an ideal choice for rooms that change often — like kids’ rooms — or for those who are renting.

For buyers looking to spend a bit more on their drapes and curtains, Brown and Pamela O’Brien, principal interior designer at Pamela Hope Designs, recommended The Shade Store as a great resource to customize the exact type of blackout curtain for any room in your home. “With over eight drapery styles and more than 650 fabric materials, you can basically create whatever type of blackout curtain you have in mind,” said Brown. However, due to the customization feature and their overall quality, both experts added that The Shade Store will cost more than your average home goods or big box retailer stores.

O’Brien recommended Pottery Barn's blackout curtains due to their array of styles and colors “that work well with most people's houses.” The brand’s Emery Linen Blackout Curtain is “a wonderful linen curtain at an affordable price point,” said Susan Peters, owner and interior designer for 9108 Designs. It’s sold as a single panel and Peters said “it doesn't give off a “blackout” vibe.” The curtain comes with hooks to use with the built-in fabric loops, or you can purchase clips or round rings separately.

What Is Cymene?

Cymene is a naturally occurring member of the terpene family present in the essential oils of many plants. Cymene has a wide variety of health benefits that have only recently begun to be recognized by the scientific community, including use as an antibiotic, anti-anxiety treatment, anti-inflammatory, and potentially as a cancer treatment. Cymene is found in cannabis as well and combines with other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids that also provide potent anti-inflammatory and therapeutic effects.Get more news about para cymene, you can vist our website!

What Is Cymene?
Cymene’s chemical properties are largely due to its structure: one benzene ring with one methyl group and one isopropyl group attached. Cymene has three isomers: p-cymene, m-cymene, and o-cymene. Allomers have a molecular weight of 134.21g/mol and a density of 857kg/m3, making cymene lighter than water.

Cymene is naturally present in high quantities in the essential oils of thyme and oregano and smaller amounts in a wide range of herbs and spices. Common plants containing cymene are anise, cannabis, coriander, and cumin. In small quantities, cymene has a pleasant odor described as citrus, woody, sweet and earthy but can be overwhelmingly harsh and turpentine-like in strong concentrations. For this reason, cymene is used in the perfume industry and added in small amounts to cleaning products.

Cymene also alters how other aromatics smell and taste, leading to its usage in the food and beverage industry as a flavor additive. Like most terpenes, cymene adds a woody, earthy, slightly menthol aspect to the taste and smell of cannabis. Cymene is only present in small amounts in a few strains of cannabis. Still, due to the entourage effect, cymene’s presence can significantly impact the type, length, and intensity of the “high” experienced.

Cymene has shown promise in many therapeutic applications, including anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, anti-tumor, and pain-killing abilities. However, the usefulness of cymene as a medication is limited by a half-life within the human body of only 40 minutes. Ongoing research aims to prolong the effects of p-cymene and enable its use as a medication for various illnesses.
